One day before writing this I picked up a junior high school student who previously was being chased by a bully my size.


I'm going to help stop this. Children have a right to feel comfortable and safe and NOT live in fear of going to school or even outside to play.


I'm Starting a Program to Teach NO PC Bully Realistic Self-Defense

This means we won't be:

Giving the bully hugs
Trying to understand how the bully feels
Turning the other cheek during a physical attack!

Yes, I want bullies to get help, BUT, NOT at the expense of an innocent child. A child must learn to deal physically with the immediate threat.

Students will be learning to:

Punch a bully back!
Block and evade a punch or kick
Defend against:
shoves
Chokes
Headlocks
Other holds and other bullying scenarios

ENOUGH OF THE PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA

This trauma lasts a lifetime! The victims don't grow out of it. Ask me how I know.

Mostly I have a drive to stop bullies and stop innocent children from being scarred for life.


Isn't there a less violent way of handling bullies?

In the long run yes. Even physically your child can study Aikido. An excellent nonstriking martial arts, BUT, it will take six months to a year for the timing your child must acquire for this martial art to become effective. In the meantime your child is being beaten and lives in fear everyday.

Will My Child Be Hit During Your Class

It's possible. I'll be emulating bullying situation and punches will be thrown. Even with a physical education degree and attempting to run a safe self-defense class there is always that possibility.

Will The Bully Be Permanently Injured?

Not the way I teach. They're still children and I want the bullies to learn their lesson without having a permanent injury. I will during self-defense class avoid those areas for counter-strikes that can cause permanent injury. Will I guarantee there won't be permanent injury to a bully. I can't control that anymore than I can control the bully attacking your child.

Will My Child Get Bruised Arms from Blocking

It's possible. I have to be as realistic as possible to prepare your child for a realistic situation, but any little boo boos he or she gets wouldn't be any worse than playing football or soccer and could save your child from the trauma of a beating by a bully.

Look parents, I need your help to help your child. A prepared child is a safer child. Bullying doesn't just happen to other kids. During your child's school years it could very well happen to your child and I need your help to stop it.

As of starting this I don't have a place to teach yet. It's probably going to be at the house or park of one of the first parents to call me. Since I'm offering actual self-defense against bullies, I really don't know if a school would let me teach on their campus.

I want all children to feel safe, again eventually I want bullies to get help, until then, if someone has to get punched, I'd rather it be the bully and not your innocent child.
