Open Question: martial arts as a career...if not a movement in america?
im very interested in martial arts. i find that many people are as well but dont know wat to do with their skills. they become teachers and then thats it. i want to start a movement that expands martial arts to the point where kids going to school today want to graduate and obtain a martial arts scholarship, go to a martial arts college, after graduation become more than some teacher in a mcdojo..but actually teachers of martial arts philosophy in colleges or other exciting careers. i know that this isnt japan and you just cant turn on a T.V. and expect actual martial arts...not some cage fighting...but kata, budo, real martial arts u kno? WHY wen u think of a martial arts career you think...teacher OR MMA? i know its more than that out there.
