Cutting Weight in the MMA Is Dangerous


Why would an athlete do anything that compromises any one element of his game plan? Think about it. In terms of taking care of your body, and putting yourself in the best possible position to challenge an opponent, why would you starve and stress yourself days leading up to a fight?

Darn right it is

It was common practice when I wrestled even in junior high. Dehydration was the most common way of losing weight quickly and then to be physically active?
